He was born in San Diego, CA., Sept. 17, 1984, the son of John H. and Maureen McDaniel Marshall. Michael graduated from Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham in 2003. He had lived in this area for the past 12 years. He was briefly employed at Wal-Mart and had participated in Flying Changes, therapeutic horseback riding. He excelled at computer video games. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Charles & Maureen Gavett of South Portland; his maternal grandmother, Dolores McDaniel of Topsham; a brother, Christopher Marshall of Pleasantville, TN, a sister, Erica Goodwin and her husband, Richard of Lisbon, a step sister, Helene Marshall of VA and a stepbrother, Sean Marshall of NJ.
