Prior to that he worked for 2 decades at Eastland Shoe. He enjoyed taking vacations with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time outdoors: snowmobiling, four wheeling, and fishing with friends. In his younger years he enjoyed riding on his motorcycle. His survived by his ex-wife and best friend Joyce Cressey of Buckfield, three daughters, Estelle and husband Jody Winant of Bowdoin, Lorri and husband Chris Morin of Sabattus, Michelle and husband Steve Aievoli of Lisbon Falls; three brothers, Donald and his wife Darlene Cressey of Bowdoin, Robert and his wife Lynn Cressey of Woolwich, Frederick Cressey of Richmond; two sisters, Janine Leclair of Moosup CT and Dondra and husband Mahlon Libby of Newcastle; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as a vast extended family.
