He was born in Jersey City, NJ, son of Gus and Helen Massaro Lippolis. He graduated from schools in New Jersey. He married Mel Lauria in Jersey City, in March 1970. He served in the U. S. Navy for 30 years, retiring as Master Chief. He later worked as Precinct Commander in security at BNAS until retiring March 2010. He is survived by his wife of Brunswick; two daughters, Elena Marie Lippolis of Portland and Deanna Haugen of North Dakota; a brother, Michael Lippolis and his wife, Irene of SC; a sister, Marie Elena Picerno and her husband, Robert of NJ and 3 grandchildren, Kiana, Sydney & Kaydance.
