Obituary:
William Bernard Keller, age 89 of Brunswick, died Wednesday, March 17, 2009 at his residence. He was born in New York, NY on February 7, 1921, the son of Emil O. and Helen Terry Keller. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School and was an apprentice machinist before serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during WWII. William worked at Lily Tulip Company in Queens as a machinist, and moved to Ohio with Owens-Illinois. He later worked at Blair Tool in College Point, Queens, until retiring in 1983. He was a member of the College Point, Queens, Masonic Lodge. He is predeceased by his wife, Lillian Ostrander; two brothers and a sister. Surviving are his son, Bruce E. Keller of New Orleans, LA; and two grandchildren, Adam Keller and Cassandra Susemihl. A funeral service will be held at 4 on Saturday, March 20 at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick with Rev. Ron McLaughlin officiating.. Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, NY.
