Lucas, 82, of 220 Pinkham Point Road, died Friday, March 12, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family and friends.. She was born in Harpswell, October 26, 1927 the daughter of Elton and Gladys Gott Pinkham. She attended Harpswell and Brunswick schools. She married Paul R. Lucas in Brunswick, March 3, 1945. They lived in Beacon Falls, CT for 36 years before returning to Harpswell in 1990. Mrs. Lucas was employed by the State of Connecticut for 28 years at the Southbury Training School. She enjoyed sewing for her family and friends, as well as flower gardening. Mrs. Lucas is survived by her husband of Harpswell; two sons, Dwight Lucas of Harpswell and Jerel Lucas of Warsic, NY; three daughters, Paulette Canonico of Brunswick, JoAnne Gaglione of Kingsland, GA and Martha Hermance of Brunswick; two brothers, C. Philip Pinkham and Lloyd Pinkham of Harpswell; two sisters, Beatrice Moody of New Sharon and Laura Wallace of Cundy’s Harbor; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
