Brunswick—Alvah C. Luce, II, age 62, of Woodward Point Rd., died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in an automobile accident near his home.
He was born in Brunswick, November 17, 1946, the son of Alvah Chase Luce, I. and Lillian Hunton Luce. He graduated from Brunswick High School, class of 1965, and from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.
Al was a Distributor of Photographic Equipment along with designing and manufacturing leather Camera Straps while residing in Santa Barbara, CA. He then returned to Brunswick where he owned and operated Al’s Monitor Heating for a number of years.
He is survived by his beloved & constant companion, "Kitty", his daughter, Lauri E Luce and grandson, Zachary, of the San Francisco Bay area; his brother, David A. Luce of Bangor and his four sisters, Connie L. Howland, of Norland, WA., Cathy A. Luce of Brinnon, WA., Patricia L. Beene of Natick, MA., and Ellen L. Warren of Spring, TX.
