Norvelle Eleanor Fatcher passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at The Garden, Brunswick, Maine, attended by her daughters and their partners.
Born in Boonton, NJ, June 4, 1917, she spent much of her life on Long Island. She moved to Spring Hill, Florida in 1986, spending summers in Pennsylvania. She then moved to The Garden in Brunswick, Maine in 2005.
Eleanor deeply enjoyed her family, copious travel experiences, and shopping. She was an exceptionally talented cook, a superb homemaker, and was clever with a variety of arts and crafts.
Her devoted husband Frank predeceased her in 2005.
She is survived by her two daughters, RuthAnn Fatscher and her partner, Patricia Conner of Arrowsic, Maine, and Patricia Eisenhart and her husband, Charles of Middletown, NY; one grandson, Karl Eisenhart and his wife, Tammy of Alburtis, PA, and Allan Kemp and his wife, Gail of Santa Fe, NM; and several other nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
A brief memorial service will be held at The Garden on Tuesday, September 8, at 11AM. Interment will be at the convenience of the family and will take place on Long Island.
