Brunswick— Faye E. Clark, age 88, died Monday July 27, 2009 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.
She was born February 14, 1921 in Whiting ME the oldest of eight and daughter of William A. and Nellie M. Crane Corey. She graduated from Lubec High School. She married Russell J. Clark March 6, 1944 in Washington, DC. Mr. Clark died in 1981.
Mrs. Clark moved to Brunswick from Lubec in 1995. While in Lubec, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, and the First United Methodist Church where she was also active in the women’s club. After moving to Brunswick, she continued her membership with the Dirigo Grange of which she was a member for over 50 years.
She was as student and admirer of antiques. She owned and operated Clark’s New and Used, Lubec and the Hay Loft, Freeport. As well she served as a bookkeeper for local businesses.
She is predeceased by her husband; three brothers, Horace Corey, Carlton Corey, Allan Corey; a sister, Ruth Nichols
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth N. Hart of Brunswick; a brother, William A. Corey of Lubec; a sister Alice Teriault and her husband Frank of Lubec; two nieces, Wanda Corey of Lubec, Shelly Tinker of Lubec; several other nieces and nephews.
