He was born October 18, 1957 in San Pedro , CA a son of William and Betty Gray Golden. He was a Gulf War veteran, having served in the US Navy for 20 years. He married Pamela Vadney in Hot Springs , AR in 1986. He was a member of the Maine Street Baptist Church , Brunswick for 22 years. While in the service he had been stationed in Spain , Maryland , Virginia , and Brunswick . He enjoyed camping and was an avid sports fan for Nascar, the Red Sox, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He and his sons enjoyed their time tinkering with cars. He was a compassionate and helpful friend to anyone in need and was always reliable to do what was needed in any situation. He is survived by his wife, Pamela of Brunswick; three sons, Marvin Golden of Portland, Timothy Golden of Presque Isle, Aaron Golden of Brunswick; a daughter Kaitlyn Golden of Brunswick; five brothers, Roy Golden and his wife Judy of Hot Springs, AR, William Golden and his wife Monica of Horn Lake, MS, Bill Golden of Hot Springs, AR, Chris Golden of Hot Springs, AR, Steve Golden of Missouri, ; three sisters, Devotie Rickman and her husband Donny of Hot Springs, AR, Mary Jane Higden and her husband John Paul of Hot Springs,AR, Judy Golden of Oklahoma.
