Dear Nick, I am very sorry to hear about your mother. I will always remember the good times we had over the summers you came to Maryland to visit. Best wishes, Mike

Dear Bart and Nick: I feel privileged to have known Eugenia since I arrived at the H-L Library nearly three years ago. She was always kind and thoughtful, smart and talented, and fun and funny, too. She made everything here work. I can't imagine this place without her. Please accept my sympathy. I know that you will hold her in your hearts forever. Roberta

Dear King Family, I went to Ricker College with Eugenia and was saddened to hear of her passing. I will always have very fond memories of my days spent with her spent in Houlton. Mt deepest sympathies as you go thru this difficult time. Meg Leach

Nick and Family, Please accept my deepest sympathies. Eugenia was one of warmest and most inviting people I've ever met. On many occassions, I stepped in the H-L library with a question or a problem that I didn't know how to start. She would sit down and help me work through all of the tangles and knots that I hadn't even noticed. She genuinely cared about students-- from the minute a student started speaking with her, Eugenia embraced the individual as a friend. We were lucky to have had her help, support, intelligence, sense of humor, and kindness. She will be missed and lovingly remembered. Zoe

Dear Bart, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have thought of you and Eugenia so many times over the past thirty years, all the way back to Ricker. Hold on to all your fond memories. They are what makes life so special. Please extend my sympathy to Nick also. Take care, Donna Lutrario-Dragotakes

I met Eugenia briefly through emails and in person when I was interviewing for a position with the library. She had a very friendly spirit and was very welcoming during my visit at Bowdoin -my condolences to her family, and the staff at H-L Library.
